Tyler Bertuzzi reveals the reason he hacked off his hair.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were back to business as usual on Sunday after the end of the National Hockey League's All-Star break, with several Maple Leafs hitting the ice for the first time since the team last played over a week ago in a win over the Winnipeg Jets.

That meant that when Maple Leafs forward Tyler Bertuzzi hit the ice sporting a drastically different look, many in attendance were very quick to notice. Here's a look at Bertuzzi skating on the ice today, looking rather different without his long hair trailing behind him.

The decision by Bertuzzi to hack off the hair was not purely an aesthetic one however, with the Maple Leafs forward revealing to Leafs reporter David Alter that he had actually donated his hair to a good cause. 

"A lady in Michigan does it for me so it was kind of the perfect time and donated again to kids with cancer," revealed Bertuzzi on Sunday.
