Travel issues for Hurricanes ahead of tomorrow’s game!
The Canes are facing the Avalanche in Colorado tomorrow, however, their travel plans quickly had to be reviewed.
The Carolina Hurricanes were supposed to travel to Denver on Friday to get there in time for the morning skate ahead of their game against the Colorado team on Saturday evening.
However, the Canes will only get there on Saturday instead because there is a snow storm in Denver which has delayed the team’s plane arrival in Colorado. Hurricanes insider Walt Ruff reported:
“Due to the current snowy conditions in Colorado, the Canes will not fly to Denver today.
They are now scheduled to travel tomorrow morning ahead of their game against the Avalanche.”
The Canes are coming off an imposing 5-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in which Jack Roslovic scored two goals.
Carolina has gone 5-1-0 on the road and 10-2 overall, while Colorado is 3-5-0 in home games and 6-8 overall. Saturday’s game is the first time these teams match up this season.
The Avalanche might be able to take advantage of the Hurricanes’ travel issues and delays to get a win at home in front of their fanbase.
