Toronto legends reunited once again!

At this very moment, somewhere in your home, is most likely a photo album within which souvenirs have been cemented. The art of photography is something with almost two centuries worth of history, and although these two NHL legends may not be 200 years-old, they are nonetheless relics of older-times. 

After having played eleven seasons together, Tie Domi and Mats Sundin were reunited once again today, as can be seen by the former's publication on Instagram.

The two players are hockey legends in Toronto, and were the organization's defining elements from the mid-90's all the way to 2006. Both individuals marked the NHL in their own respective manner.

Tie Domi was a relentless enforcer who, despite his size, could easily rival the NHL's toughest. He played just over 1,000 games in the NHL, during which he amassed 245 points and a whopping 3,415 penalty minutes. 

As for Mats Sundin, the history books will always remember him as being the first European player to ever be drafted first overall during an NHL entry draft. A record for which former number "13" must thank the 1989 Quebec Nordiques; the organization would later trade him to the Leafs in a controversial trade that would bring Toronto legend and former captain Wendel Clark to Quebec City. 

In hindsight, the trade would end up being one of the biggest contributing factors to the Maple Leafs success for the following decade. Sundin would go on to become the team's captain, for whom he would register 988 points in only 985 games.

Domi retired from hockey in 2006, whereas Sundin would announce his retirement in 2009 after a productive half-season with the Vancouver Canucks.
