Actually... if your grandpappy was around for the Leafs' heydey in the 90s with the likes of Wendel Clark and Doug Gilmour, maybe they are...
But this 2023-24 Leafs squad is nothing like the organization's teams in recent years, thanks in large part to the injection of toughness that new GM Brad Treliving brought on board this offseason. By adding veterans like Tyler Bertuzzi, Max Domi and Ryan Reaves to his roster, Treliving significantly upgraded the Leafs' toughness and sent a message to the rest of the league that the Leafs won't be pushed around this season.
