The 2023 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic will feature the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames battling it out at Commonwealth Stadium on Sunday, October 29. And we now know the 2nd intermission entertainment.
Canadian rock group Nickelback, who boasts a large fan base despite being widely regarded as one of the most disliked bands in the world, will be performing.
Commonwealth Stadium is the home of the Canadian football League's Edmonton Elks. As fate would have it, the matchup will mark the 20th anniversary of the NHL's first outdoor game between the Oilers and Montreal Canadiens, also held at the same venue with 57,167 fans in attendance.
