Dangle tears the Leafs a new one.

You know you've messed up when even one of the most loyal fans in the sport is berating your team after what he describes as the most humiliating regular season loss in franchise history.
The Toronto Maple Leafs were humiliated on Saturday night when they failed to capitalize on what should have been a golden opportunity for them and more importantly 2 easy points in their final game ahead of the National Hockey League's trade deadline for the 2019 - 2020 NHL regular season. The Leafs were facing off against the Carolina Hurricanes, a team currently competing with them for the final few playoff spots in the Eastern Conference, and when both of Carolina's goalies went down to injury it should have been an automatic win for the Maple Leafs.
After both Hurricanes goaltenders James Reimer and Petr Mrazek went down to injury during the course of the game the Hurricanes were forced to use emergency backup goaltender David Ayres for roughly half of the game. It was a catastrophic situation for the Hurricanes as Ayres was by no means an NHL calibur goaltender, in fact Ayres is a 42 year old Zamboni driver for the Toronto Marlies who last played in a professional game 5 years ago in which he allowed a whopping 11 goals. For a team built on their offensive prowess it should have been a gimme to pick up some easy goals against Ayres, but instead the Maple Leafs looked uninspired and were routed by the Hurricanes with a final score of 6 - 3.
Following the game Maple Leafs superfan Steve Dangle took to his YouTube channel to express his frustration at what was an extremely disappointing loss for the Leafs, one that he believes was the worst loss any iteration of this team has suffered in regular season play. This was not your normal rant from Dangle either, the Leafs superfan buried his own team by calling them the biggest joke in the National Hockey League and even going so far as to suggest that every player on the roster should be traded after such a disgraceful loss.
I can't do Dangle's rant justice though, and thankfully I don't have to. You can watch it all the hilarious entertainment in the video below.
