Stars captain Jamie Benn out with lower body injury
How we feelin', Stars fans?
The Dallas Stars have announced that captain Jamie Benn will not play in tonight's game against the Nashville Predators this evening as he's dealing with a lower body injury.
From Stars insider Brien Rea:
The 35 year old Benn hasn't missed a game yet this season and has been amongst the most durable players in the NHL over the course of his 15 year career. He hasn't missed a game in five seasons and has missed only a handful of games going all the way back to 2009.
Cause for concern? Or just resting the captain ahead of a long playoff run? How we feelin', Stars fans?
