Shocking declaration from Montreal Canadiens' Shea Weber!
Habs' management will surely not be happy to hear that...
HockeyFeed
Montreal Canadiens head coach Claude Julien has tried a bunch of different lines and defense pairings since the start of the training camp. He obviously wanted to put his players in many situations so he could properly evalutate them. But was that the right call? According to Shea Weber, it might not be.
In an interview with TVA Sports, Montreal's best defenseman admitted his team was far from being ready for the regular season... which starts in less than a week:
"We still have two more games to show what we've got. I do not think we are ready for the start of the regular season, but we still have two games to make sure we are."
Wow, let's just say Habs' management must not have been happy to hear that. Did Julien make the right call by trying a bunch of different combinations instead of choosing stability?
