Second trade for Andrei Kuzmenko in 35 days!
🚨 TRADE ALERT! Details down below:
The Philadelphia Flyers have traded forward Andrei Kuzmenko to the Los Angeles Kings.
The return to Philly is a third round pick in 2027.
Back on January 31st, Kuzmenko, along with teammate Jakub Pelletier, a second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2028 Draft, was traded from the Calgary Flames to the Flyers, in return for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee.
Kuzmenko is in the final year of the deal he signed with the Vancouver Canucks, making $5.5M. According to insider Frank Seravalli, the Flyers are retaining half of Kuzmenko's salary in the transaction, meaning that the Kings will have him at just $2.75 million.Â
Since he was moved to Philly, Kuzmenko recorded two goals and five points in seven games.
