Earlier today, Boston Bruins A.J. Greer was suspended for one game for Cross-checking Montreal’s Mike Hoffman.
The incident took place during a face-off in front of the Bruins bench during the first period of Boston’s 4-2 win. Greer received a major penalty for cross-checking Hoffman and a game misconduct.
And now Hoffman can't believe Greer will only be banned one game.
The Habs' forward, with a huge bloody scar on his chin from the cross-checked, complained about the suspension in a video he posted on his social media. He cannot comprehend how he was once suspended two games for cross-checking a rival in the back, while Greer attacked his face - and it is very clear he did damage - and will only miss one game.
We can only why Hoffman isn't pleased with the league's decision. The scar on his chin is gruesome and it is clear that it will leave a mark.
However, we cannot say for sure that Greer will learn from this mild punishment...
