Ryan Reaves drops the gloves for the 1st time this season in one of the best fights of the year!
Hard to find a better scrap than this one! Watch below:
Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves finally has his first fight of the 2024-25 season. Minutes into the first period of Wednesday night’s game between the Leafs and the Columbus Blue Jackets, there were fireworks as Reaves and Mathieu Olivier squared off in an intense tilt.
The Jackets’ forward was not intimidated and socked Reaves a couple of times early into the bout to get the lead. After falling down early, Reaves got back up and traded rights with Olivier for quite some time before both forwards were spent and the officials separated them.
It was a great tilt from both guys and I guess it was worth the wait for Reaves’ first of the season.
Watch below:
Both enforcers threw some bombs and got the love from their teammates and the fans at ScotiaBank arena in Toronto.
I want a say this is a tie, but I’m sure when I say this was a great fight. Just like Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube said: “that was a fight..”
