Ryan Reaves calls out former NHL player for a boxing match!

I’m going to whoop him up and down that ring.”

Minnesota Wild enforcer Ryan Reaves probably isn't thinking about retiring anytime in the immediate future, but it sounds like when he does there may be one former National Hockey League player who will suddenly have a giant target on his back.

Reaves was recently interviewed and during that interview the hosts took some questions from fans on social media, and one fan identified only as "Alebeert" decided he was going to ask Reaves about a possible boxing match after his hockey career had been wrapped up. Specifically the fan asked Reaves about the possibility of him stepping into the ring to take on another former NHL player in the form of Paul "Biznasty" Bissonnette.

Much to my surprise, not only did Reaves indicate that he would be willing to fight Bissonnette in a boxing ring but he even went a step further and indicated that it was the one thing that had him excited about the prospect of retiring from hockey.

“It’s the only thing I’m looking forward to in retiring, I’m not gonna lie," admitted Reaves when asked about the boxing match. "I’m going to whoop him up and down that ring.”

The two men previously clashed on a episode of the Spittin Chiclets podcast where Reaves said he would "do it for free" when it comes to stepping into the ring against Bissonette, but these latest comments appear to be a clear indication that he genuinely intends to get in the ring once his hockey career is over and put a whooping on the former NHLer.
