This just in, according to multiple online reports the Montreal Canadiens have traded veteran goaltender Jake Allen to the Colorado Avalanche.
The 33 year old netminder is in the first year of a two year deal that pays him $3.85 million per season. With Allen signed for next season, this is more than just a Spring time playoff rental for the Avalanche so it'll be interesting to see the price they paid.
Allen has a 3.63 goals against average and a .895 save percentage in 18 games with the Habs this season.
