Report: Penguins going after another big name
Kyle Dubas continuing his additions?

Pittsburgh Penguins president of hockey operations Kyle Dubas, who also recently named himself the team's general manager, has had one of the bigger offseasons out of the 32 NHL clubs.
He's already made a handful of acquisitions for his new club, including 2023 Stanley Cup champion Reilly Smith from the Vegas Golden Knights along with re-signing goaltender Tristan Jarry to a questionable five year contract, while also luring former Maple Leafs players Andreas Johnsson and Garrett Sparks to the organization.
His biggest haul was completed this weekend with the acquisition of Norris Trophy winning defenseman Erik Karlsson from the San Jose Sharks as part of a 3-team blockbuster deal. You'd think that would cap Pittsburgh's summer moves, but apparently, there's talk of even more shopping from Dubas.
According to NHL Insider Elliott Friedman, one player that Dubas and the Penguins have interest in is New Jersey Devils forward Tomas Tatar:
The Slovakian-born veteran forward was drafted in 2009 by the Detroit Red Wings, with whom he spent the first several years of his career before being dealt to the Vegas Golden Knights in 2018. Since then, he's played for both the Montreal Canadiens and New Jersey Devils, the latter of whom he signed in 2021 on a two-year contract worth $9 million.
Last season with the Devils, Tatar reached the 20-goal plateau for the 6th time in his career. In 783 career games, he's scored 211 goals with 244 assists.
