Referee Wes McCauley takes out Brad Marchand.

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand probably isn't going to be too thrilled about this one, especially not considering the ribbing he's likely to get from his fellow players over the coming days.

On Saturday night, Marchand and the Bruins were facing off against the Vancouver Canucks when suddenly Marchand was taken down by an unexpected obstacle in the game's second period.

That obstacle was none other than National Hockey League referee Wes McCauley, who accidently executed a pretty solid body check and shove combination that sent Marchand sprawling to the ice. McCauley on the other hand seemed completely unphased by the contact, although he has no doubt drawn the ire of Marchand.
