The Detroit Red Wings are coming off a much-needed victory on Tuesday night, having won a wild back and forth affair against one of the top teams in the Western Conference in the Winnipeg Jets. Being able to put six pucks behind Michigan native goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was a nice change of pace for an offensive attack that had been struggling of late.
They'll be right back at it tonight against the Original 6 rival Toronto Maple Leafs, who have already beaten them twice this season. And ahead of tonight's game, the Red Wings have announced several roster moves.
Per Daniella Bruce, grinding forward Adam Erne will be in tonight for Pius Suter, who won't be suiting up. Meanwhile, defenseman Jordan Oesterle slots in for Gustav Lindstrom, while Michael Rasmussen will move to center.
Ville Husso will be getting the start in net, looking to avenge having been pulled against the Leafs in November at Little Caesars Arena. Tonight's game will begin at 7:00 PM EST.
