Quinn Hughes at the center of new dressing room feud in Vancouver

A video has emerged showing how more drama is taking place in the Canucks’ room. Watch below:

Things aren’t getting any better for the Canucks in Vancouver these days.

After an absolutely spectacular season in 2023-24, everything seems to be falling apart this time around. Goaltender Thatcher Demko can’t seem to be able to get out of the infirmary, and a reported feud between JT Miller and Elias Pettersson escalated to the point where management had no choice but to trade Miller to the New York Rangers… While Pettersson is just starting to get out of his funk since the trade was pulled.

To make matters worse, forward Filip Chytil, who was acquired in the Miller trade with New York, suffered a concussion over the weekend. This is his fourth career concussion, which is becoming increasingly concerning for him and his well-being.

Meanwhile, the other player acquired in the Miller move, defenseman Victor Mancini, suited up on Sunday night for a crucial playoff race game against Utah HC. In the first period, Mancini was paired with star defenseman and captain Quinn Hughes, but things went from bad to worse.

During an offensive zone play, Mancini had the puck at the blue line and opted to take a shot on net rather than passing it to Hughes, who was wide open on the other side.

Visibly frustrated, the Canucks captain repeatedly slammed his stick on the ice to express his displeasure with Mancini’s decision.

You’ll see in the video below. Let’s just say it wasn’t a great look for a leader toward a rookie, especially when chatter of a dressing room feud had finally come to an end.

Vancouver ultimately lost the game 3-1, allowing Utah to gain ground on them in what promises to be a tight race to the finish ahead of the postseason.

Tensions are running high among several Canucks players right now, and things are not looking good for the road ahead with very little time ahead of the playoffs.

The Canucks better get it together before it’s too late.
