Prospect watch: Sam Lafferty looks good in the NCAA!
How good can he be at the professional level?
HockeyFeed
Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Sam Lafferty is doing quite well with Brown University (NCAA) again this year! The 22-year old forward, drafted 113th overall by Pittsburgh in 2014, has scored four goal and added three assists for seven points in 12 games played.
He had his best season last year, when he scored 13 goals and added 22 assists for 35 points in 31 games. He has slowed down a bit this season, but he should get his offensive touch back soon. Lafferty is still without a contract, so this season may be his last chance to prove to the Penguins management team (or any of the other 30 teams) that he has what it takes to make it to the next level.
The 6'1", 185 pounds forward has registered 64 points in 105 games played with Brown University.

What do you think, Pens fans? Should the team sign him after his university career?
