The second round of the postseason offers fans a Battle of Florida and one in Alberta!
The first game of the series in Florida took place last night, with the Tampa Bay Lightning striking first, leading the series 1-0 thanks to a 4-1 victory of the Panthers.
Fans are now getting ready for action in Alberta when the Edmonton Oilers will take on the Calgary Flames for Game 1 later tonight.
It’s quite easy to tell which market is doing better by simply taking a look at the ticket prices for the second round.
According to this Hooked On Hockey Magazine report, the cheapest second-round ticket price for a game in Edmonton comes at $540. In stark contrast, the cheapest second-round ticket price for a game in Florida is only $50!
You can see that one team has less trouble selling playoff tickets than the other!
The tickets are known to be expensive in Edmonton, and quite cheap in Florida, though this comes at a high price for some second round action.
Unless you get a ticket and go on to win the 50-50 lottery offered by the Oilers! The price is no joke!
