Premier League soccer team shows great class in beautiful tribute to Adam Johnson.
A Premier League soccer team has put on a beautiful tribute for Adam Johnson.
The Nottingham Panthers forward that was killed in a tragic on-ice accident a little over a week ago was honored on Sunday when the Premier League's Nottingham Football Club and their fans took a moment during the game to acknowledge the tragic passing of a young man taken far too soon.
During the 47th minute of play of the field, the players from both Nottingham F.C. and the Aston Villa Football Club stopped what they were doing and took a moment in tribute to Johnson. A giant flag with Johnson's jersey number and colors was raised in the crowd and the English fans in attendance as well as the players showed great class in applauding in unison.
