Potential Utah Hockey Team names revealed!
Which of these has the best ring to it?
For the first time in history, Utah will be home to a National Hockey League franchise. It became official this week with the sale of the Arizona Coyotes to Ashley and Ryan Smith of the Smith Entertainment Group, who own the Utah Jazz of the NBA.
Right now, no official re-branding has taken place, but we now have a better idea of some potential nicknames that the franchise will be operating under before too long. According to ESPN's Greg Wyshynski, there are a handful of options being considered.
He writes on X:
"On Tuesday, applications were filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office for trademarks on the following names:
Utah Blizzard
Utah Venom
Utah Fury
Utah HC
Utah Hockey Club"
Which of these names sound the best for what will be the soon-to-be relocated Coyotes?
