Ovechkin's sons not interested in Capitals' gift of golden mini-sticks
LOL! I love their reactions!
The Washington Capitals held a pre-game ceremony this evening to honor Alex Ovechkin and his passing of Wayne Gretzky as the NHL's all-time goal scorer.
The ceremony featured a video tribute and plenty of gifts for Ovi and his family. Ovechkin's wife Nastya and his mother Tatyana both received giant bouquets of roses and pricy Rolex watches. Ovechkin himself received a golden hockey stick and a remarkable concrete sculpture celebrating his 895 goals, featuring a game-used stick and a real pair of his yellow laced skates.

His sons Sergei and Ilya were presented with golden mini-sticks:
The best part of the entire ceremony though, and maybe this is just funny to me because I'm a father, was the fact that the two young boys didn't seen even remotely interested in the sticks.

Kids, eh?
Can't even impress them with a literal golden hockey stick...
