On Friday, Toronto Maple Leafs team president Brendan Shanahan announced the his club has decided to part ways with Kyle Dubas ahead of his contract expiring on June 30. He will not return as general manager of the Maple Leafs.
On top of that, other massive changes were announced in the franchise as it was confirmed that the Toronto Marlies will not renew the contracts of coach Greg Moore & assistants A.J. MacLean & John Snowden, per TSN’s Mark Masters.
There is a lot happening in Toronto less than a week following its elimination from the postseason. The Maple Leafs won a playoff series for the first time since 2004 when they defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round before falling to the Florida Panthers in the second round.
So much going in Toronto!
