The Edmonton Oilers have announced that they’ll host a public Celebration of Life ceremony for legendary enforcer Dave Semenko tomorrow afternoon at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Semenko passed away last week after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 59.
In addition to friends and family members, it’s expected that several Oilers legends will be attendance for the memorial including long-time friends and teammates Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Paul Coffey.
While there is no charge to attend the memorial, the Oilers are requesting that fans who wish to pay their respects reserve a general admission ticket online.
