Oilers making lineup changes for Game 1 vs. Panthers
The Oilers lineup is getting an update for the Cup Final opener!
The Edmonton Oilers have advanced to the 2024 Staney Cup Final, marking the first time that a Canadian franchise will be playing for the Stanley Cup since the 2011 Vancouver Canucks. They'll be going against the Eastern Conference Champion Florida Panthers, who are in their second consecutive Cup Final and hoping for a better result than last season.
And ahead of the opening game of the series tomorrow night, the Oilers appear to have made some lineup switches, as Sam Carrick and Derek Ryan didn't practice.
According to the forward lines posted by TSN Edmonton reporter Ryan Rishaug on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Warren Foegele slots back onto the 4th line alongside Ryan McLeod and Corey Perry. Foegele has played in all but three of Edmonton's postseason games, and has a goal with a pair of assists.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Connor McDavid - Zach Hyman
Evander Kane - Leon Draisaitl - Dylan Holloway
Mattias Janmark - Adam Henrique - Connor Brown
Warren Foegele - Ryan McLeod - Corey Perry
Game 1 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final will start tomorrow night at 8:00 PM EST from Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
