NHL unveils All-Star captains and celebrity captains.

The National Hockey League has unveiled the players who will serve as captains for the 2024 NHL All-Star Game as well as the celebrity captains that will accompany them during the skills competition.

In all there will be 4 teams and normally that would mean 4 different captains but this time around the NHL has introduced a bit of a twist with one team being led by a pair of co-captains.

As I mentioned there will be 4 teams and they are as follows:

Team Matthews:

This team will be captained by Toronto Maple Leafs star forward Auston Matthews and his celebrity captain will be long time friend Justin Bieber.

Team McDavid:

Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid will captain his namesake team and joining him as his celebrity captain will be actor Will Arnett

Team MacKinnon:

Colorado Avalanche star forward Nathan MacKinnon will head up his team as captain and he will be joined by singer Tate McRae.

Team Hughes:

Here is where we get to our twist with both Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes and New Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes serving as co-captains, although I'm sure the brothers won't mind. Joining them as their celebrity captain will be singer Michael Buble.
