The Canadian forward made his return to Team Canada's lineup today following a shoulder injury and he hasn't wasted any time making his presence felt. Newhook gave Canada the 1-0 lead over Russia in today's semi-final matchup just 57 seconds into the game. But here's the thing... nobody knew the puck was in.

The play was blown down just a minute later and the arena's video officials confirmed that Newhook's shot did indeed hit the back bar, rather than the crossbar as everyone on the ice thought.
