While the New York Rangers will have a new head coach next season, not every single player that left the ice in defeat against the New Jersey Devils following Game 7 of their Round 1 series setback will be back in the fall.
However, one player that will be back for the next two years is Anton Blidh, who just was re-signed to a two year contract by general manager Chris Drury. According to the report, his AAV will be $775K.
Blidh, who was originally drafted 18th overall in 2013 by the Boston Bruins, has appeared in 84 career NHL games, scoring four goals with eight assists. He was traded by the Colorado Avalanche to the Rangers this past March in the deal that sent Swedish forward Gustav Rydahl back to Colorado.
