Nasty scar to Jeremy Lauzon after getting dropped by Vasily Podkolzin

You guys knew this was going to leave a mark.

The Nashville Predators didn’t have an answer to the visiting Oilers last night, losing the game 5-1 even though Edmonton showed up without captain Connor McDavid. With their leader sidelined due to an ankle injury, the Oilers stepped up with forward Vasili Podkolzin answering to Predators defenseman Jeremy Lauzon attempting to shift the momentum of the game when he invited him to a fight.

Lauzon probably regrets his decision, especially this morning, after Podkolzin absolutely dropped him with a hard right, cutting him on the face and sending him out of the game for repairs.

If you look at Lauzon’s face closely on the image down below, you just know that this is going to leave a mark and the defenseman will have a scar to show for it.

Unfortunately for him, it is likely to remind him of this loss, both game wise and fight wise, for a long time.

Let's hope for Lauzon that he is a fast healer and that the punches to his face will not bring on additional issues like concussion-like symptoms.
