Mini Stamkos steals the show at the All-Star Game.

Mini Stamkos wins over everyone.

As a long time fan of the sport of hockey the National Hockey League All-Star Game can be a little a boring at times. Of course the event is primarily for a younger audience and to help attract new fans to the sport, but every once in a while there are special moments that every type of fan can truly enjoy.

On this particular All-Star weekend Tampa Bay Lightning star forward Steven Stamkos was taking in another All-Star Game and although he was one of the main attractions for members of the media, it was his son Carter Stamkos that truly stole the show during his media availability.

Carter, as you can tell from the photo, is not an NHL hockey player. What he is however is absolutely adorable and he showed that while his dad was doing his best to field questions from reporters. When Steven Stamkos sat down to take some question, Carter Stamkos wanted nothing to do with the microphones or the reporters interested in talking to his dad, having interest in only one thing.

What Carter wanted to see more than anything was, believe it or not, the Zamboni. Steven Stamkos did his best to manage his young son as he was talking to reporters and even tried to distract him with some water, but young Carter Stamkos was insistent about his desire to see the Zamboni and only the Zamboni.

You could say that he was being a little bit stubborn, but he was just so darn adorable that he instantly won over every reporter within earshot as well as the other players that were in the room with Stamkos at the time.

After pleading with his dad several times and even taking a drink of water as per his request, Steven Stamkos eventually gave up trying to buy himself more time for the media and gave in to his sons demands taking him off camera, presumably to go show him the Zamboni that he so desperately wanted to see.

After all, Carter was even nice enough to say "please."
