Mike Hoffman makes a life-changing announcement over the holidays.

For players in the National Hockey League the holiday breaks represents a period in which they can kick back a little and relax after the grueling first part of the 2022-23 NHL regular season, but some players won't be getting as much rest as others.

On Sunday, Montreal Canadiens forward Mike Hoffman made a life changing announcement when he revealed that he and his wife, Monika Hoffman, were expecting a child. The announcement was made via Monika's Instagram account so there's no doubt about the authenticity of this announcement, a wonderful Christmas present for Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman.

"Just like that, it’s finally our turn," said Monika of the announcement.

The Hoffman's made the announcement together via a photo that shows the both of them, arm in arm, in front of a huge Christmas tree holding up an additional series of photographs, with these ones showing their unborn child.
