Michael McCarron blows a fuse and gets ejected after dirty hit and angry fight!
I believe his wires crossed… Watch the whole sequence down below:
Nashville Predators forward Michael McCarron blew a fuse on Tuesday night in the game against the St. Louis Blues. Not only did he get a five-minute major for interference, he also landed a major penalty for fighting after he received a game misconduct for this sequence of events that appeared to injure Pavel Buchnevich.
After dangerously ramming Buchnevich into the boards, McCarron was challenged to a fight by Blues teammate Jake Neighbours, though the tilt did not last long with the Preds’ veteran player shoving him down to the ice.
You can watch the entire sequence down below:
Once he was ejected from the game, McCarron made his way down the tunnel and expressed some frustration on his way to the Predators’ dressing room.
He was pissed...
While the NHL’s Player Safety Department will review the incident, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for a possible hearing and suspension to follow suit…
But I mean the play remains unacceptable, which got McCarron ejected in the second period of the contest.
