Michael Bunting and Evander Kane brawl after the whistle.
These two don't like each other.
The Edmonton Oilers and the Toronto Maple Leafs engaged in a very spirited affair on Saturday in a game on Hockey Night in Canada that very much had that Stanley Cup playoff atmosphere to it.
Not only did the game deliver in terms of goals, with both sides generating plenty of offense, we even got to see some pretty intense physical battles towards the latter portions of the game.
Perhaps the best example of these scuffles came during an incident in the third period that saw Evander Kane and Michael Bunting battle halfway across the ice before finally brawling in front of the Oilers net. Even after the officials stopped the play and attempted to separate the two men both Bunting and Kane were clearly still trying to get a piece of one another.
The Leafs have taken control of this one in the third period, but this issue between Kane and Bunting may be far from over.
