McDavid leaves Oilers, will fly back to Edmonton for medical evaluation following tonight's injury

UPDATE 2: Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has confirmed that captain Connor McDavid has left the team and will travel back to Edmonton for evaluation from team doctors.

The Edmonton Oilers are in a world of trouble tonight in Columbus, Ohio.

Not only are they down 3-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets, but captain Connor McDavid has left the game and will not return due to injury.
