Vegas Golden Knights star forward Jonathan Marchessault thought of those less fortunate on his day with the Cup.

As is tradition in the National Hockey League, every member of a Stanley Cup winning team gets the chance to have their day with the Stanley Cup, and today just so happened to be Jonathan Marchessault's big day.

For obvious reasons fans are always extremely curious about what each player will do with their special moment with hockey's version of the Holy Grail, and the Vegas Golden Knights superstar certainly did not disappoint when it came to his turn with the Stanley Cup. Given that each player has limited time with the trophy it always wonderful to see them share their moment with members of their community, and I am happy to report that this is exactly what Marchessault did on Saturday.

On Saturday morning, the official account of Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team the Quebec Remparts published a video that showed Marchessault taking time out of his day to share the cup with sick children at the Centre mère-enfant Soleil children's hospital.

Marchessault then took to the streets to again share his moment with his community, this time parading with the puck as hundreds of fans gathered to see the show. According to several in attendance, Marchessault was incredibly gracious with his time, stopping to sign many autographs along the way.

Hockey fans like to boast that we have the best pro athletes in the sports world, and Marchessault provided us with yet another example on Saturday.
