This is so emotional for the goalie and his family.

It had already been a special night for Minnesota Wild goalie Marc-Andre Fleury on Tuesday when he got the 5-3 win over his former team, the Penguins, in what was his last game in Pittsburgh. Fleury spent the first 13 seasons of his hall-of-fame worthy career with the Pens and the fanbase and his former teammates made sure he was getting a send-off like no other.

Following the game, Fleury celebrated the evening not only with his teammates, but with his former teammates Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang. He then took a lap and waved to all of the fans in attendance.

Fleury’s family will all be in attendance and once the players were changed and the fans had left the building, the netminder joined them and was reunited with the trio left in Pittsburgh who are still close friends, Crosby, Letang and Evgeni Malkin.

The four players met on the ice and the Penguins offered Fleury to cut the net and take it home with him. His children helped him to cut it off while Crosby, Letang and Malkin shared some good memories and some laughs.

See the heartwarming ending to a very special night in the video shared by the Penguins down below:

With the Penguins, Fleury took part in 691 games throughout his 13 seasons, posted a record of 375-216-68, won three Stanley Cups, and could very well have his jersey retired at some point down the road. And he made lifelong friends that were thrilled to see him and celebrate with him last night, and some will ever say happy to see Flower get the win.
