You know the trade chatter is heating up for the veteran goalie…

Ever since he was shockingly traded to the Chicago Blackhawks, Marc-Andre Fleury is not ruling out any possibility of getting moved again. There could be another move in the cards for Flower, the same guy that considered retirement when he was traded by the Vegas Golden Knights this summer to come to Chicago…

Earlier this month, it was reported that Hawks interim GM Kyle Davidson is still in “evaluation mode,” and he and the front office haven’t decided what their plan is for the team — or Fleury.

It is believed the Blackhawks are open to any trade proposals that come their way, though it will come with challenges. Fleury has a 10-team no-trade list and was already unsure about moving his family from Vegas to Chicago. He was convinced to do so and may not be open to move again with a months left on the last year of his contract.

However, the Hockey News hinted at two teams in the mix to land him and, while the chance to potentially win another championship before hanging up the pads, Fleury could waive his clause to make a trade happen. This is what THN reports:

“Following a shaky start, the 37-year-old Fleury has regained his Vezina Trophy form. An unrestricted free agent at season’s end, he could prefer another shot at a Stanley Cup, something he won’t get in the immediate future with the rebuilding Blackhawks. Perhaps the Colorado Avalanche come calling or a reunion with the Pittsburgh Penguins could be in the cards.”

We also know that the Edmonton Oilers are also getting a close eye on what happens to Flower, though he’d probably need to be sure they are top contenders to accept a move.

We get the feeling that the Blackhawks will look to trade players away than acquiring players at the deadline as the team focuses on continuing the rebuild and restocking for the future.

Will Flower end up in Denver or back with his friends in Pittsburgh?
