Maple Leafs reportedly linked to Ryan Reaves
Are the Leafs about to add some toughness?

While most of the focus of the Toronto Maple Leafs offseason will be concerning the futures of Auston Matthews and William Nylander with the team, it looks as though they could be on the verge of adding some serious sandpaper to the lineup.
According to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman, the Leafs are interested in Ryan Reaves:
"I think they're [TOR] gonna add some beef down the lineup. I wouldn't be surprised and I'm not necessarily saying it's gonna be these guys but like I wonder about like an Austin Watson or I wonder about a Ryan Reaves. That's what a couple of people have said to me. They think the Leafs are gonna try to make their bottom-six a little heavier."
He's coming off a one year, $1.75 million deal that he signed with the New York Rangers before being dealt last season to the Minnesota Wild. He's also played for the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Vegas Golden Knights.
