There's a new face within the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, and he happens to be the son of a player who was a thorn in Toronto's side during his days back in the day with the rival Montreal Canadiens.
Kieffer Bellows, the son of former Montreal Canadiens forward Brian Bellows, has been signed to a professional tryout agreement with the Toronto Marlies, the Leafs American Hockey League affiliate.
A native of Minnesota, the younger Bellows was originally selected in the first round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders. He's appeared in a total of 95 career NHL games, scoring 14 goals with 14 assists.
