The Toronto Maple Leafs hope that they're getting some stability back into their crease tonight when they pay a visit to Sidney Crosby and the rest of the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena tonight.

According to head coach Sheldon Keefe, it will indeed be former Pens Stanley Cup winning goaltender Matt Murray who will get the nod tonight between the pipes against his old team, marking his first start since the first week of this season prior to suffering an adductor injury.

"Matt Murray's a big part of our team," Keefe said. "To get him back in the net and get rolling is important for us."

"It was a four-to-six-week type of deal," he continued. "He put in a lot of hard work and he looks very much ready.....Just the amount of work he did tells me he's feeling really good," Keefe said of Murray. "They were going to spend the day feeling it out and making sure they don't progress too quickly. Very encouraging to see both guys on the ice (Murray and Samsonov)."

For Murray, he's certainly looking forward to getting back in the swing of things, and he was quick to compliment the team medical staff.

"Progress has been really good, they do a heck of a job here," Murray said of the medical staff ahead of his return.

Tonight's game starts at 7:00 PM EST.
