Be sure to mark your calendars.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be starting their annual training camp just over a month from now, and it will be a vastly different team that hits the ice than the one that skated off the ice at Scotiabank Arena last spring after their defeat at the hands of the eventual Eastern Conference champion Florida Panthers.
Their preseason schedule has been released, but there's been one notable change that fans venturing downtown for the game will need to remember. The Original 6 matchup against the Detroit Red Wings (which will feature former Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi facing his old teammates once again as a member of yet another 06 team) has been moved from Friday, October 6 to one day prior. The game will now take place on Thursday, October 5 at 7pm ET.
