The beloved Canadians goaltender is back in the headlines.
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, who is still under contract with the franchise through 2026 despite having not been able to play since the 2021-22 season, is back in the headlines.
Price has been named the recipient of an honorary doctorate from the University of Northern British Columbia:
Price is the winningest goaltender in the rich history of the Canadiens, with a total of 361. However, he's been unable to play since a brief return to action in 2022 owing to a debilitating knee ailment.
