It's the end of the road for former NHL forward Tyler Ennis, who officially retired today after playing 700 games with Buffalo Sabres, Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and Ottawa Senators.
Originally selected in the 2008 NHL Draft by the Sabres, Ennis was forced to call it a career thanks to a neck injury that he suffered in late 2023.
He finishes his career with 144 goals and 202 assists in the regular season, along with four goals and eight assists across 22 postseason games. Perhaps his biggest moment came at the age of 21 when he tallied the overtime game winner for the Sabres in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarter Finals in 2011 against the Flyers:
