London Police reveal charges in 2018 Hockey Canada sexual assault case.

The London, Ontario police held their much anticipated press conference on Monday and officially announced charges for 4 current and 1 former National Hockey League player, all 5 of whom were members of Canada's Gold Medal winning World Junior championship team in 2018.

The announcement was made by London, Ontario police chief Thai Truong.

"We have found sufficient grounds to charge 5 adult males with sexual assault," said chief Truong on Monday. "Those charges are as follows: Michael McLeod age 26 of Mississauga, Ontario, two counts of sexual assault. Alexander Formenton age 24 of Barrie, Ontario, one count of sexual assault. Carter Hart age 25 of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, one count of sexual assault. Callan Foote age 25 of Denver, Colorado, one count of sexual assault. Dillon Dube age 25 of Calgary, Alberta, one count of sexual assault. These individuals have surrendered to the London police service and were released on undertakings with their first court appearance occuring this morning."

Earlier today, TSN's Rick Westhead revealed that the next court hearing is schedule for April 30th.
