The Boston Bruins dropped their contest last night against their division rival Tampa Bay Lightning, falling in a shootout at TD Garden by a 3-2 final score.
And goaltender Linus Ullmark is going to have to open up his wallet following his actions against Tampa's Michael Eyssimont. He drove the net and collided with Ullmark, who immediately gave a swat to Eyssimont's face with his goal stick.
He's been fined a total of $5,000, which is the maximum amount allowed by the CBA.
Ullmark and the Bruins will face the Lightning once more this season on March 27.
