Life-altering news for Panthers’ Gadjovich hours before Game 2 of ECF!
Oh wow.
Florida Panthers forward Jonah Gadjovich cracked the NHL roster in time for the postseason, and though he has yet to make his playoff debut, he remains ready to do so and taking part in every practice for the team.
Florida is taking on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden later tonight for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final, after taking a 1-0 lead in the series, and Gadjovich might have an extra bounce and motivation in his step.
The Panthers announced hours before Game 2 that Gadjovich and his wife Allison had just welcome twins, son and daughter, into this world. The team shared a post by Gadjovich and his wife on the happy news.
Gadjovich recently signed with the Panthers through 2026 after bouncing around the minors for a few years before spending parts of three seasons with the Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks.
This is great news for the fourth-line defensive specialist who can add some spirit when needed to the Panthers’ lineup.
Hit by maturity with this life-altering news, he may be even more ready for playoff action, and might be called upon to do so if the Rangers add bruising forward Matt Rempe to their arsenal.
Gadjovich can be quite the agitator, and I doubt he will be soft on the Rangers, despite being new daddy to these two adorable newborns.
