The Los Angeles Kings have traded defenseman Sean Durzi.

On Saturday, National Hockey League insider Frank Seravalli was the first to break news of the trade when he announced that the Kings would be moving Durzi to the desert.

Seravalli would later confirm that the Kings would be receiving a second round pick from the Arizona Coyotes in return for the young defenseman, a pick at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft that formerly belonged to the Montreal Canadiens.

This now marks the second time that Durzi has been given a change of scenery in his NHL career with the young blue liner initially traded to the Los Angeles Kings by the Toronto Maple Leafs as a piece of the trade that brought defenseman Jake Muzzin to Toronto.

Durzi had 9 goals and 29 assists for a total of 38 points in 72 games for the Kings last season.
