K'Andre Miller suspended for spitting on Drew Doughty
The Rangers' defenseman pays the price for Sunday's act.
HockeyFeed
This just in, the NHL has suspended New York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller for three games for spitting on Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty.
And here's the "infraction" in question:
Miller was assessed a match penalty on the play, yet his still maintains that it was a mistake and that he never meant to spit on Doughty.
Look...
I'm a HUGE K'Andre Miller fan but... c'mon, dude...
It's clear what you were doing here, don't try to shy away from it. Own it, say you made a stupid mistake and move forward. Just imagine Brad Marchand saying he 'accidentally' licked an opponent... just pure nonsense.
In any case, whether it was intentional or not Miller will sit for 3 games.
