The New York Rangers have taken care of an important matter of business this afternoon, as it was announced by general manager Chris Drury that defenseman K'Andre Miller has been signed to a two year contract with an AAV of $3.872 million.
Miller tallied a career high nine goals and 34 assists in 2022-23, and was a restricted free agent. He was originally selected 22nd overall by the Rangers in the 2018 NHL Draft.
“Thankfully, I have an agent right now,” Miller said of his future with the Rangers during his exit interview in early May. “So let him go to do his job there and I’ll try to just do my job and focus on hockey, get in the gym again, and get back feeling good for next year.”
