Josh Ho-Sang may be forced into painful choice

This really would be unfortunate. 

Former NHL forward Josh Ho-Sang, who played in 53 games with the New York Islanders before joining the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, is reportedly considering retirement thanks to injury. 

Currently under contract overseas with Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the KHL, Ho-Sang was injured in his first game of their schedule and hasn't been able to play since.

"Forward Josh Ho-Sang may retire. The Canadian said that he still has not made a decision about his career and is discussing it with his family, Match TV reports. Recall that at the end of March, the striker went to North America, having agreed to sign a new contract with Salavat Yulaev.

Ho-Sang was injured on his debut in the KHL for the Ufa club against SKA (2:3 OT) in September last year, after which he underwent surgery. The player missed 67 out of 68 meetings of the regular season. In the playoffs, he played four games and scored no points."

In his most recent season in North America, Ho-Sang scored 16 goals with 19 assists while playing with the Toronto Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Leafs. He was originally drafted 28th overall by the Islanders in the 2014 NHL Draft.
